I enjoy looking at the Scouting items from years ago.
I would venture to guess that most Scouts today have never seen some of these things.   The manuals are lost or in museums and you can't read them.  Patches get thrown out by parents who don't know any better.

So here are selected items from my collection.  If you have something in particular that you are interested in, let me know and I can give you more information about it.  If you are interested in trading something, let me know what you are interested in and tell me what you have to offer.

Norman Rockwell		 1943handbook.gif (16025 bytes) Books and Manuals - I have handbooks from the '40's through the '70's.  I have included some of the information from them.
smcsp-greatsouthwest.gif (4265 bytes) Council Strips - These were just coming into fashion when I was in scouting.  My Council had only issued one by the time I left Scouting.  I collected a bunch of them at the 1977 National Jamboree.
 
Here's a Rare Patch!

The XV World Jamboree  in 1979 was schuled to be in Iran. Due to the political climate in Iran, the Jamboree was cancled.

When we paid our first installment to go to the jamboree, we were sent one of the XV World Jamboree Iran patches shown above.

We were told that the Iran patches (warehouses full) were burned, so there are probably only a few thousand of the Iran patches available.
