In the Arizona desert is a huge hole in the ground, caused by a Meteor crashing into the ground.  The Astronauts have done some training here.  It is a bit of an "outer world" experience, where the weather has made few changes over the years.

By this time, all of the kids in New Mexico and Arizona are back in school, so there are practically no people at any of the "touristy" places we went to.
