Estes Park, CO
Back Home Up Next

After driving through the flatness of Nebraska, it was refreshing to get to the Rocky Mountains.  We stayed in Estes Park, Colorado a kind of recreation area on the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park.

We spent the day with the Wierengas (Bill's Sister and family).  We drove race cars and played Mini Golf and did all those great kid things. with all the cousins.

We took a cable car to the top of Prospect Mountain and did a little hiking.  We saw some more of those "Spyglass Creatures".  It seems that they go everywhere we do...

The next day we drove through the Rocky Mountain Park and started on the way to Salt Lake City.  It was very strange to drive a big RV at 12,000 feet.  The views were really amazing.
