You probably have seen the commercials for some drug that have been shot in this place.  Additionally there have been several music videos shot here as well as a few scenes from the Travolta/Slater film called "Broken Arrow".  You drive out to a spot in the desert to park, and then sign on with a Navajo guide who is driving a pick-up truck with a bench seat on each fender.  They drive you to this opening and you are free to wander around for awhile before they come and pick you up.

We got there right around noon when the light comes straight down the top of the canyon into the wind blown passages below.  The colors are always changing based on the light.  If you were a professional photographer, you could spend all day here, taking pictures from different angles and with different lighting.
