We kept ahead of the storm we ran into at Crazy Horse.  It gave us some interesting pictures as we drove through the Bad Lands (the Pine Ridge Sioux Reservation.)

Welcome to the Bad Lands.  It looks like the moon.

We needed to chase down several dirt roads in the reservation.  Seems like the Indians don't rate pavement.

At the south end of the Pine Ridge Reservation is the Wounded Knee creek.  The memorial sign to the Massacre of Wounded Knee originally said "Battle" but the locals used the word on the sign for target practice, forcing the installation of a patch over the hole which replaced the word "Battle" with "Massacre".
