What is Your Source?

We need to know where your information comes from.

If you want to build a web site, you need electronic information.  If you have all of your information in word processor, spreadsheet or presentation format you have taken an important first step.  Without the information in electronic form, it is impossible to build a web site.

If you have only paper or photos or other paper based information, it is possible to build a web site.  It only takes longer and can cost money for the labor to scan the information into electronic form.

Ultimately it is you, the content owner, who needs to provide the information to build the site.

A special case is reserved for databases.

A database is a collection of tables containing information.  If you are a heavy user of Excel spreadsheets, you are a candidate for web database development.  The web development team would assist you in creating a database for you to put your information in.  A connection is created between the database and the web.  If you update the information in a table and a web viewer looks at your page, the information is updated automatically.  This is great for numbers, schedules, or any other information that naturally can be put in rows and columns.
