Get Organized

A web site is basically a "tree" of information.  If you have defined your audience, your message and your intended response, it is very easy to build a hierarchy of importance.  You build an "org chart" with the top level being the "Home" page of your web.  You put the most important topics on the home page.  You then put links on the underlying pages that connect to information in that category.  You use your insight to decide what to put where.

The best part of the web is that viewers leave a "trail" as to where they have been on your site and what they look at.  If you didn't "guess right the first time" as to what information to put on the home page (the things most requested), you can add or change links any time.

No two web sites look the same.  Obviously some web sites have similar components, but each site is different depending on the audience, message and intended response.   Of course there are other factors that come into play.

Imitation is encouraged.  If you find a web site that you like, and you want to borrow information or style from that page, it is very simple to do.  Of course there are copyright issues, but that is one of the areas that we deal with.  You supply "the big picture".  We'll get the components from you and put it all together.
